Who We Are
SlopePro is a retail roofer serving Central Virginia. We don't depend on insurance claims, and we don't run high-pressure sales playbooks. Most of our work comes from homeowners who found us through our reputation, our marketing, or someone we worked for last year.
Our install crews have been with us for years. They know how we build a roof and they care about doing it right. When a homeowner buys a roof from us, they get the roof we promised them. Our new sales consultant will be part of that same promise.
Who We're Looking For
Someone who would rather earn a homeowner's trust than close them. Someone who listens more than they pitch.
Comfortable with a homeowner who wants three estimates and two weeks to think about it.
Actually interested in houses, in how things are built, in the people who live in them.
Will tell a homeowner their roof has five years left in it, even when that means walking away from a sale.
Keeps clean notes, follows up when they said they would, doesn't lose track of people.
Not chasing the biggest ticket of the month. Building a reputation that compounds over years.
The Role
Our office staff books the appointments before they reach you — about 8 per week on average, year-round. These are homeowners actively shopping for a roof, not cold leads.
Take photos and measurements. See what's actually going on up there, in plain language you can explain at the kitchen table.
Walk them through what you found, what their options are, and what SlopePro would recommend. Prepare a clean proposal. No pressure tactics.
Help them make a decision in their own time. Once they're ready, hand the job off to our production team with good notes so the install goes smoothly.
Honest Disclaimer
If you've been trained in one-call-close, "tonight-only" pricing, or manufactured urgency — this isn't the right fit. Reps who come from those environments sometimes do great here once they unlearn the pressure tactics. Be honest with yourself about which one you'd be.
What You'll Earn
Experienced reps earn this range their first year. Years two and three grow with your referral base.
Monthly draw during your ramp period, then tiered commission on clean gross profit.
Contributions toward health, dental, and vision. Full details at interview.
Higher-margin jobs and self-generated work pay higher commission rates. No hidden overhead charges.
